If you are over 65 or are vulnerable please read this.
If you are unable to, or are worried about, going out, a group of local volunteers has been set up to get shopping for you or run emergency errands. This is what you need to do:
- Make a shopping list.
- Phone Sue Coleman on 01892 870435 (ideally between 9am and midday) with your address, telephone number and the shopping list. If you can email these details email@example.com that would be even better. Try to minimise items (if Sue is not there, please leave your name and number and she will call you back).
- Sue will source a volunteer, who will contact you directly so you know a named individual not a stranger will be helping, and they will give you a delivery time.
- Make sure you have enough cash or a cheque available to pay the volunteer for your shopping.
- To support local businesses and minimise travel, for such time as it remains possible, please buy items from the village stores if you can.
