If you are over 65 or are vulnerable please read this.

If you are unable to, or are worried about, going out, a group of local volunteers has been set up to get shopping for you or run emergency errands.

This is what you need to do:

  1. Make a shopping list.

  2. Phone Sue Coleman on 01892 870435 (ideally between 9am and midday) with your address, telephone number and the shopping list. If you can email these details that would be even better. Try to minimise items (if Sue is not there, please leave your name and number and she will call you back).

  3. Sue will source a volunteer, who will contact you directly so you know a named individual not a stranger will be helping, and they will give you a delivery time.

  4. Make sure you have enough cash or a cheque available to pay the volunteer for your shopping.

  5. To support local businesses and minimise travel, for such time as it remains possible, please buy items from the village stores if you can.
